From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
As with the rest of the parks industry, 2012 is going to be a big year for Six Flags. You can see what's up at every park in my new Ride Guide.

Also, following up last week's announcement that more Potter is on the way to Universal Orlando, I've got some inside info to share with you about just what may be coming.

Everything Old is New Again at Six Flags in 2012
The chain has promised that every new park will be getting something new next season. Indeed, there are some incredible rides on the way, including the unique Superman Ultimate Flight coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and the (figuratively and quite possibly, literally) breathtaking Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom at Six Flags Magic Mountain. But other "new" rides will really be old -- in some cases, considerably old -- rides moved and recycled from one park to another.

Still, there are some bold, wild rides coming to many of the parks. (And to be fair, some of the reshuffled rides should be big hits at their new locations.) Find out what's in store when the chain hikes its flags up the poles next season in the Six Flags Ride Guide 2012.

Primo Potter Patter: Intriguing Orlando Rumors

Since the Harry Potter theme park rumor mill started cranking at warp speed (kindly pardon the awkwardly mixed metaphors, I'm Potter pooped) and Universal confirmed last week that both of its US parks would, in fact, be getting Potterized, I've been trying to figure out what may be on the way. Given Universal's scant details, we're left to speculation -- of which there has been plenty. Based on the info I've been able to cull from my sources, I've pulled together my own speculation about what may be on the way to the expanded Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando.

Hey Slick! Remember Men in Black?
There's a new MIB flick coming. But the old MIB ride is still a blast.
