From Anitra Brown, your Guide to Spas
You may have seen all the photos of a flooded Thailand. But don't cancel that dream trip (or day-dream trip) to Chiang Mai or Phuket. There's no flooding in those regions, and you can still get around in the land that created Thai massage. Staying at home? Try this home-made pumpkin mask massage. Or find a Korean spa and have a body scrub like you won't believe.

Thai Spas Still Open For Business
Despite the flooding you can still enjoy sun and spas along some of the world's most exotic beaches in Phuket, Ko Samui and Krabi. Or head north to Chiang Mai, whose famous spas come alongside mountain trekking, elephant riding, great restaurants and shopping.

The History of Thai Massage
Thai Massage is relatively new to American spas, but it was developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand as a healing modality 2,500 years ago.

Get A Korean Body Scrub
You don't have to go to Thailand to get an Asian massage, especially if you live near a major city. One of my favorite treatments is a Korean body scrub. Marvel as your dead skin cells come off in ropes!

Home-made Pumpkin Face Mask
Stocking up on pumpkin for Thanksgiving? Put a little aside for this home-made pumpkin mask, which will hydrate your skin and give you a little "me" time.
