| | This week sees Apple readying Lion for release. It's wrapping up loose ends, pushing developers to submit Lion applications, and getting the Mac App Store ready for the expected onslaught. While Apple is getting ready, so should those of you who plan to make the switch. This week's newsletter has news and tips for getting ready for Lion. And even though it looks like many About: Macs readers will be upgrading, some of course will not. For those of you who aren't interested in Lion, I've included a number of tips and troubleshooting articles to help you keep your Mac in tip-top shape. | | Which Applications Will Work With OS X Lion? If you're planning to upgrade to OS X Lion, it would be handy to know ahead of time which of the applications installed on your Mac are compatible with OS X Lion, and which ones aren't. Apple pre-populates it with what it considers to be most useful items for most users, but there's no reason not to add, remove, or rearrange items. After all, it's your sidebar, and setting it up just the way you like it is a key to productivity...
