Chicken and Sausage Gumbo Recipe
From the mansions of the Garden District to tiny clapboard cottages on the bayou, gumbo, a local version of French bouillabaisse, has graced every proud Louisianan table.

Sazerac Recipe
The Sazerac cocktail is classic New Orleans. It originated in a Creole apothecary in the 1830s and gained popularity among the patrons over the next few decades. By 1850 the cocktail had jumped into mainstream bars, commonly called coffee shops at the time. This Sazerac recipe is an embodiment of the mid-19th century version, using rye whiskey in place of the original French Cognac.

Cognac Shrimp with Beurre Blanc Sauce Recipe
This easy shrimp main dish is quick and easy to prepare. Serve it with couscous and Red Pepper Bean Salad.

Remy's King Cake Recipe
Remy's king cake recipe is a twist on the original variation of the sweet, yeast-risen cake filled with cream cheese custard typically served at Mardi Gras celebrations. This version has the mildest hint of aromatic spices baked into the dough and a zesty hit of fresh orange flavor in the creamy cheese filling. As tradition dictates, the colorful cake is sprinkled with yellow (or gold, symbolizing power), green (faith), and purple (justice) sugar or frosting.
