I've been sitting in the back room, behind one of the racks of servers, quietly tallying the votes from this year's Readers' Choice Awards. I've come to the conclusion that once again, About: Macs readers have chosen some of the best Mac applications available to wear the Readers' Choice Awards badge.

This week also sees the first in a series of Pages tutorials. We'll be adding more tutorials as time goes by, and eventually concentrating on Pages '11, when it's released. In the meantime, working with Pages '09 can help you get the fundamentals under your belt.


Readers' Choice Awards Winners 2011 for Best Mac Application
It's official: The best Mac applications for 2011 have been selected. As you may know, the Readers' Choice Awards are entirely driven by you, the readers of the About.com network. The guides who run the individual sites, such as About: Macs, chose the categories for the awards, but our readers selected the nominees and then voted for the winners.
