Cherry Blossom Viewing Party
Cherry blossom viewing parties (hanami) are held all over in Japan. People bring lunch boxes to parks and eat them under cherry trees. Popular foods for hanami are dango (sweet dumplings), yakitori, inari-zushi, and so on. Enjoy cherry blossoms.

Cabbage Rolls
Cabbage rolls (roll cabbage) are popularly cooked at home in Japan. I usually use ground pork and lots of vegetables and mushrooms for the filling. For additional flavor, I like to put some ketchup on top.

Japanese Recipe of the Week: Quick Shio Ramen with Corn
This is a kind of ramen noodles called shio ramen. The soup is simply seasoned with salt. I like butter flavored corn for shio ramen topping, and sesame seeds also go with the soup. If you have chukamen noodles, try this ramen recipe.
