Daikon radish is often simmered in dashi soup, but it's also a good addition to salads.

Daikon Salad
Raw daikon might be slightly hot, depending on the kinds. If you like the flavor, juicy and crunchy daikon pieces add a nice texture in salads. This salad uses wakame seaweeds and cucumber.
