From Betsy Malloy, your Guide to California Travel
It's a tough job, but we're up to the challenges of checking out and reviewing wineries and tasting rooms. This week, we've got some great new finds (and a new list) to share.

Top Napa Wineries: New Additions, Updates
On our most recent Napa visit, we enjoyed fine wine and food during the Enoteca experience at Signorello. Besides great food and wine, they have one of the best views in Napa. That's it in the photo.

We're also starting to look for some great, small wineries - ones that only produce a few thousand cases per year, individually-owned - where you might just find the owner or the winemaker in the tasting room or giving a tour. Look for them here.

Make an appointment for the Back Country Tour, meet owner and winemaker Trent Ghiringhelli at the property's entrance and you'll get there in "Sugar Magnolia", a 1963 Willy's Navy jeep.

Find out what we thought of the experience.

The price is über-reasonable, the pairings exquisitely planned and executed - and the portions (as Baby Bear would say) are - just right... more

California in July
In July, you can watch fireworks, eat some garlic ice cream, fly a kite or watch some experts build a sand castle. See what else is going on.
