From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
When my sister was pregnant with her first baby, she was terrified that she would have a girl. Not because she didn't want a girl, but because she and her husband had decided immediately on a boy's name, but couldn't come to an agreement on a girl's name.

How to Choose the Right Baby Name
"Nothing is pretty enough," she said. "I'm afraid we'll wind up naming this baby Princess Pretty-Pretty Purple Pants. Either that, or she'll be 26 and they still won't let us bring her home from the hospital."

What's Your Baby Naming Style?
This problem makes sense to me, because naming a baby is a lot of responsibility. For instance, I was nearly named Daisy, until my parents realized that I might take after my Dad and grow up to be six feet tall and built like a football player.

Popular Baby Names in Previous Decades
So my name is Jennifer, which isn't rare, but is probably a great name for people to name their kids ten years from now. Since there will be no babies named Jennifer at all by that time. It will probably be considered old-fashioned, which will peeve me to no end.

Choosing Your Grandmother Name
A less stressful naming issue: What to call yourself if you're a grandparent. This has been a big issue lately for celebrity grandmas like Blythe Danner. Although I still think she's playing a practical joke on us when she says she's called "Woof."
