| Sharp Shows Off 85-inch 8K Resolution LCD TV
Sharp has developed, in partnership with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), a prototype 85-inch LCD TV that displays full 8K resolution images. To put this into perspective, 8K resolution translates into 7680 x 4320 pixels (4320p) and is effectively 16 times more detailed than current 1080p resolution TVs.
