From Tom Nelson, your Guide to Macs
I've spent part of the past few weeks benchmarking how well the three leading virtualization applications for the Mac perform. I tested Parallels, Fusion, and VirtualBox, and threw in Apple's Boot Camp for good measure. The results were surprising. If you plan to run Windows on your Mac, take a look at our benchmark results.

In Mac news this week, PCWorld says Apple smokes the competition, at least when it comes to reliability and support. Apple took top honors once again in the annual reliability survey.

Virtualization Benchmark: Parallels, Fusion, and VirtualBox
Virtualization environments for the Mac have been popular applications ever since Apple made the move to Intel-based processors. Along with the move to X86-compatible processors came the ability to run Windows, Linux, and other popular OSes directly on the Mac's hardware. Snow Leopard uses the same file sharing system that was first introduced with Leopard (OS X 10.5). If you have used file sharing in OS X 10.5, then the setup process will be very familiar to you. If you haven't used file sharing on the Mac in a long time, you'll discover that Apple reconfigured the way Windows file sharing is set up... Read more

Browser Shootout 2010: Which Mac Browser Is the Best?
I'm often asked which is the best Mac browser to use. My answer is always the same: It's the one that you like the best. Many individuals want a more quantifiable answer, though, so to see if we can put some measurements behind browser performance, we decided to perform a Mac browser benchmark test... Read more
