From Robert Silva, your Guide to Home Theater
To provide added coverage during this shopping season, I am sending out a special supplementary newsletter every week highlighting Christmas and Holiday Shopping Tips for loyal newsletter subscribers. This week, the spotlight is on Video Projectors.

Before You Buy a Video Projector
The video projector has long been used as a presentation tool in business and commercial entertainment, as well as in some very high-end home theater systems. However, video projectors are becoming more available and affordable for the average consumer. Check out some useful tips before you buy your first video projector.

DLP Rear Projection Televisions
Although Rear Projection Televisions have fallen out of favor due to the massive popularity of LCD and Plasma Televisions, they still provide the consumer with the largest screen image for the price of any TV models in use. Currently, Mitsubishi is the only company actively making rear projection televisions for the U.S. market. All these sets utilize DLP technology and are also 3D-ready (in fact, most DLP sets made from 2007 to now have been 3D ready). So, if you are tired of watching that "tiny" 27-inch TV, why not go "all the way" and buy a really big DLP rear projection television? Check out my favorite picks.
