Welcome to my Weekly Home Theater Newsletter! This past week I was in "Hotlanta" (and it was hot!)attending the annual CEDIA EXPO, which featured new and prototype home theater products targeted at the high-end consumer. However, due to the downturn in the economy several exhibitors were offering products that are affordable for mainstream consumers. Next week I will have more complete wrap-up of what I saw, but this week I have couple of items from the show to wet your appetite.

iPhone Home Theater Remote Control Apps
The iPhone is more that just a phone. It seems that a whole industry has popped up to enable the iPhone to be used for a variety of tasks. One interesting way to use an iPhone is as a remote control for home theater components and home automation systems. SpeakerCraft Unleashes iPod/iPad Audio at CEDIA 2010
