This week started out with Apple providing a one-two punch of updates, with a new unibody Mac mini and version 10.6.4 of Snow Leopard.

Of the two, the Mac mini is the most interesting. By switching to a unibody chassis, Apple has for the first time brought internal expandability in the form of user accessible RAM to the Mac mini line. Apple also added features that makes this new incarnation of the mini the perfect candidate for use in a home entertainment system.

While Apple is busy boosting the performance of its Mac lineup, Adobe is making headway with its Flash player, releasing version 10.1, which offers much needed speed improvements.
