Cables To Go TruLink 1-Port 60 GHz WirelessHD Kit - Review
Eliminating wires and cables in home theater systems is certainly an ongoing battle. In recent years some strides have been made in wireless connectivity, but, unfortunately, the solutions have been a mixed-bag.

One wireless connection solution that has received increasing attention is "wireless HDMI" connectivity. As a result, Cables To Go, makers of connection solutions for both the PC and home theater environments has jumped on board with its TruLink 1-Port 60 GHz WirelessHD Kit. The TruLink provides a method to wirelessly transmit 1080p video and audio originating from a HDMI source up to a distance of 30 feet to a video display or home theater receiver.

To accomplish this, the Cables To Go TruLink utilizes the 60GHz transmission band, which is suitable for short distance, line-of-sight, wide-bandwidth radio transmission.
