Nine months ago, President Obama signed legislation to regulate the credit card industry. A week from today, those changes will go into effect. But how will they affect you?

Eleventh key change: Credit card companies will no longer be allowed to send thugs to your home to make menacing gestures with baseball bats and natter on about "the vig."

About the CARD Act
I cannot figure out which part of this act I like best, but it might be advance notice of interest rate change. That, or actually spelling out how long is a "reasonable time" for making a payment. (I swear my credit card statement is now being mailed after it's due.)
